SIGARCH serves a unique community of computer professionals working at the forefront of computer design in both industry and academia. It is ACM's primary forum for interchange of ideas about tomorrow's hardware and its interactions with compilers and operating systems.

Member Benefits:

  • Student travel awards for SIGARCH conferences.
  • Grants for talent development, well-being and advancing diversity and inclusion at SIGARCH conferences.
  • Travel grants for special-needs companion assistance and child-care support for SIGARCH conferences.
  • Reduced registration rates to conferences sponsored, co-sponsored, or in cooperation with SIGARCH.
  • Mentoring opportunities for students including “Meet a Senior Architect” program and, in collaboration with the newly formed Computer Architecture Student Association (CASA), “Meet a Senior Student” program that include lightning mentoring sessions at computer architecture conferences.
  • Access to all SIGARCH material in the ACM Digital Library.
  • Option to upgrade to various discounted member-plus packages to receive print copies of additional SIGARCH-sponsored conference proceedings (when available).

  • Efforts to increase diversity, centralized throught the sub-committee for Women in Computer Architecture (WICArch); e.g., online mentoring program, online directory of women in architecture, highlighting recent achievements and upcoming graduates, social media and mailing list, and co-sponsorship of the CRA-W Grad Cohort Program (reassessed each year).
  • Support for the Computer Architecture Student Association (CASA) that targets well-being of students.
