Abstract:

Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) has taken the world by a storm and is expected to impact many aspects of human endeavor. Due to its generative capability, it is undoubtedly going to impact education significantly as the process of education requires students to generate various outputs like solutions, reports, code, design, presentations, etc. While GenAI will affect all education, in this talk we will discuss the possibilities of impact on higher education. We will consider different levels in HE and explore how GenAI may impact it.

This talk is meant more as a catalyst for discussion, as no one really knows how the impact of GenAI will eventually manifest itself. It is hoped that attendees will actively participate and share their views and experience on this topic.
